Recently, I think since the .21 update, I've been noticing that the client will become 'not responding' at various times when I'm actively editing some object. It hit me twice earlier today when I was trying to edit an attachment on my av while on a posing stand. It was particularly annoying as I'd spent nearly a half hour positioning everything just-so.. then pfftt... The client becomes dead and Windows reports on the window-bar 'not responding' and the only exit is to kill the SL process in taskman. Then, of course, when you restart the client, it wants to send a crash report, which, being the nice resident I am, I do... I wonder.. Does LL actually peruse these reports?? Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else actively building is seeing this.. BTW: The system is a fresh WinXPPro install on a Dell GX620 dualcore w/2Gb ram/256m GF6200 pciexp video. Since I just bought the machine a week ago, and blew Dell's image off it and did a clean install (to get rid of their bloat), I know I've got the latest drivers/etc..
