Very confused/frustrated/angry...

Okay. Today, I decided to Upgrade to a Premium Quarterly account so I could go and purchase some land.

A few moments before, I had decided to purchase some $L through paypal. I live in Canada, so I paid about $14 Canadian ($12 US) to upload onto my GOM (I can only HOPE it'll go through right now... as it was supposed to be instantaneous... and it didn't go through instantaneously ... I noticed that my Paypal account wasn't 'verified'... so I did that, and now I'm playing the 2-3 day 'waiting' game...) ... This left me with $1.95 CDN in my Paypal account.

I then decided to sign up for Premium Quarterly. I signed up for it, thinking I'd just change my billing to Credit Card instead of Paypal afterward... and signed up for it.

4 seconds later, I recieved an email stating that there had been $22 taken out of my Paypal account, paid to Linden Labs.

Okay. So. WHERE THE HELL... ARE THEY GETTING THE $22 FROM? AND WHAT IS IT FOR?? Am I being charged NOW for my 4 months? ... I don't understand.

I panicked, wondering what the heck was going on... and immediately went to Downgrade my account. I then wrote an email to support asking what the hell was going on with it... but now I'm going to have to wait for a reply... and honestly, I'm sick and tired of getting emails from automated systems.

When I went back to see if I could change my account back to a Premium Quarterly, it said that I'd have to wait until December, as it was in the process of being Downgraded.

I'm absolutely and totally pissed off right now. This has gotten me incredibly and ferociously frustrated, as I have no idea where they're getting this money from, what it's going to, and the fact that I DO want a Premium Quarterly account so I can own land, and I don't want to suddenly LOOSE the land and everything I have ON the land just because it's being Downgraded cause I Downgraded it when I didn't know what the hell was going on with my money.

Can someone (preferably a PERSON, not a MACHINE) /please/ tell me what's going on with my money? .. And how am I going to be able to go back and set it to Premium Quarterly? ... Or have I just totally #@%($#% myself up?
