Hi, i just recently updated to the "newest" version of SL and well, my textures are going haywire, i mean if i back up or zoom in on my self, the attached prim items will take like a crystal formation and spike in all directions, my friend told me to try here first to see if anybody could help me and idk what else to do?

Got a picture ?, that sounds like what i had when my old 9800pro got fried -.-; got huge spikey wierdness here and there in SL and WoW, everything worked just looked like o.O odd.

or was that my memory i forgot :q, either way if you could put up a pic, maybe drivers to blame to , cant really tell unless tried out a few things.

Please post pictures. I can't imagine what you're describing but might have a clue if I can see what you see.

I also have the same problem when I enable AGP for my AGP Radeon 9550 card.
Look to see if you have AGP enabled and if so turn it off thats what fixed it for me. (although it would be nice to be able to actually use the AGP feature)

I took a pic of the strange phenomenon for you all...

that worked, i checked the perferences and clicked off the enable AGP filter option and it worked, i did several slow zoom in's and out's and crazy camera moves that brought out the spikey textue thing and it didn't do it anymore, thanks again Ambrosine Lightstone and thank you to everybody else who tried to help out :)

ah thats a familiar sight :p ah good to know it was just agp option messing up, exactly like that it looked when i had dead vid card.

( x ) enable agp accelleration (toggle this if you get wierd graphical glitches)
