I try and think.. 'Am I imaging these things?' I think back as to how I placed prims, on how they should be, I'm noticing a very severe shift to prims.
It seems they tend to 'move' on their own slightly at a very very slow but steady pace away from each other causing gaps, and breaks etc. It's becoming so frustrating to build and having to re-align all the prims its becoming a chore. Anyone else having this sort of issue?

I see it very often with objects that use llSetPrimParams, I've now got a loop in all the objects to move them back into their ordinary position once every while.

Einsman, it can't be explained, my studio shifts also! I attribute it to the same phenomena which mysteriously moves large rocks in Death Valley!! http://www.billandcori.com/deathvalley/dv_moving_rocks.htm

Majorly! what a let down, first people can't get to locatioins to view attractions or goods for sale, nowit seems attractions and goods are another hurdle to overcome.

This is one of the issues i've kept quite about for months. Back in 1.4 was when i first noticed this with some prim i created. I probably bug reported it. My solution was to make an semi smart anti moving script. Anyway over the months i have created more prims with this problem but it is very difficult to replicate. The varibles i've been able to determin that go into them moving is prim torture (extream shapes), size. I don't remember ever having a full size prim drifting but i do remember smaller prims doing it. They would drift anytime there was an update to the object.
Most strange things that happend with these prims worked themselves out when they were linked to other prims. I think this is an issue with Havok; Havok likes linked objects better then single prims.
I've probably seen 10 or so prims that actualy drift. Most were tortured tubes.

Well, I've noticed the shift with actually the most basic of shapes. I don't think I'm placing them off angle or un-aligned, I'm usually good about that, I even notice when things are linked they still seem to shift.

Well, let's see... went to Arena.. lined up vehicles on display for sale. Left for a couple days... returned... some were higher than originally placed, some out of x or y alignment.
Very strange.
Building--- rezzed a prim in a location I have never had a problem - Butsu... grabbed an arrow to resize... Wham.. jumped 2 meters... released, CTRL-Z'd... regrabbed.. whamm.. 1.25 meter jump.. rinse repeat... multiple times.. gave up and went exploring as building was impossible earlier today.

Well hell, wasn't it something like 1.4 or so that they FIXED this bug and everyone confirmed it? Why has everyone been keeping quiet if it came back?

I know some times i'll move / modify an object, when I log back in at a latter date the object seems to have forgotten what was done to it. But I passed this off as sl having problems with the asset server or maybe modifying too many object and primitives in a short period of time. Have you ever had object just disappear?

I am seeing this problem today. I don't know if they ever fixed it because those posts are older but after today's patch, I saw stuff moving and some people see it aligned fine but some don't and I don't. It's driving me crazy.
