It's been a long night.
A few hours ago, I began having problems logging in to SL. I could log in fine, but my clothing would still be downloading. In the six or eight weeks that I've been on SL, this hasn't posed a problem; my stuff downloads in a minute, I'm happy, and I go about my business. Not tonight, though... tonight, my clothing and attachments failed to load, and the game would crash immediately after that.
So, I'd log in, see a misshapen gray blob (my shape hadn't downloaded yet, either), and any attachments that I'd try to add would be "pending" for five minutes or so before I'd receive two error messages: "unable to create object" (I'm guessing my prim hair and any other attachments that didn't load) and "unable to load gesture" (I don't know what that refers to). At that point, SL would crash, and I'd be back to square one. This happened probably ten times, at least.
In the five minutes that I'm able to be online before crashing, I'm also incapable of teleporting.
I haven't seen anything like this in the Knowledge Base, nor have I heard any similar complaints from other residents, so I did the only things I knew to try -- I cleared my cache and relogged, I restarted my computer, and I even uninstalled/reinstalled SL. Result? Nothin'.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? I'm about to start tearing my hair out, here.

Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? I'm about to start tearing my hair out, here. Leave your hair alone, same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago. After 7 attempts I gave up, and the next day everything was fine. What caused it I dunno, but frustrating...yes. Mandy C

Been having similar problems today..  i think the max time i could stay on was for 10-15mins.. Also 50% of the time i rezzed as a female instead of a male. |

Thanks to all of you for your replies -- it's good to know that I'm not the only one experiencing (or having experienced) this problem, although I certainly don't wish this issue on any other residents.
I'm relieved to see, at least, that there's now a post on the blog about "network issues," so the Lindens know about the problems by now. It would've been nice to be able to get ahold of someone last night, though; I sent in two crash reports, but live help would've been nice. I didn't bother filing a bug report or a support request, since doing so in the past was anything but helpful.
I could forgive LL for an unstable product if they had good customer service (likewise, I wouldn't mind their poor excuse for support so much if the program was reliable), but, sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case at this point.

About 19 days I cant play SL cause this issues after login:
+ cant walk, only spim
+ cant make local chat
+ cant make IM
+ cant have my inventory
+ cant have my money
Today, I log and my SL crash after 5 minutes
Now, I cant log.
What f* is going on??????????????
My system:
AMD Semprom 3000+, 1 GB Kingston menory, NVIDIA 6600 GT, DSL conection (from Brazil), Realtek NIC, LG L1950 H monitor, 2 HD´s SATA 80 GB.

I can log in again and all's well -- finally! =) Now, if only it'll stay that way...
I hope everyone else who's been having problems can get back online soon, too!
