i have noticed on my ~new~ computer, that the CPU goes up to full with two IE windows open and yahoo messenger, and Task manager telling me in Processes that System Idle is 99% of it. :(

So of course my web stops loading, freezing pockets.
i can hear the fan going, ok.

Been having major issues with graphics card in game.

But recently i been looking at my stats FPS/PACKET LOSS/bandwidth window in game and everything is as normal as should be. No harsh flutuance as before.
But still i am frozen in time, with simple walking. I move one way or turn left and has major pause break then zoom i am where i am suppose to be.

I am loading everything around me fine, but movement in any way, is a joke.
Have minimized all my settings. removed my AO & bling etc etc.
Am guessing the CPU being over powered by system idle process is gobbling up my memory. :( *sigh*

I just updated like 39 things from windows update. Dont know if it helps. Will see.
But if anyone has had that issue with their computer pls helppppp :)

Im having a very similar problem....but I can't even get SL running! I just downloaded SL, and when I open it...my cpu usage shoots to 100% and nothing happens...no new window, no opening screen...nothing! Anybody have any ideas?

Im running a fairly new computer and I have McAfee set to allow Second life to run without any problems!

i have mcfee as well, but i turn everything off when on game for more stability.
quite frankly, i dont like how i must go into so many pages to turn off the different things for it. should just be an on off button for it all. sigh.
so most time i have missed something.
check your windows firewall as well.
i use only my windows firewall. not mcfee.

what startles me, is the system idle is on 99%, while i am surfing the web and open pages and on yahoo messenger :( My CPU is acting like i am not using my computer.

any help would be great.

thanks
