Confirmation

I'm sorry if this is a topic that has been asked again and again, but I have been away from Second Life for some time and only just got a new computer, but it has the dreaded Windows Vista on it which is also keeping me away from Second Life now.

I know some of the problem lies in graphic cards and I currently have an Ati Radeon X1300Pro installed on my system. Now I am not looking for a quick fix here by downloading XP drivers and that kind of thing because I am happy to wait just a little longer, but can someone confirm for me what exactly I am waiting for?

Am I waiting for Second Life to be brought up to date or am I waiting for new graphic drivers to be released? Or am I waiting for nothing and there is exactly a simple way of getting Second Life to run on my Vista machine.
