Hi,

I have a laptop with a Nvidia NVS 100M 256Mb videocard which is running Windows Vista RC1 (build5728) with the ForceWare version 96.33 from Nvidia. The point is I detect several issues while using Second Life with this configuration:

1. If I start SL in a window and switch to another window the video driver stops responding and get restarted.
2. If switch from full screen mode back to window mode SL always crashes
3. In the preferences of SL my grphical card is detected as 64 Mb max, while it has 256Mb on board. This is bad, cuz the difference between the possibilities with 256Mb and 64Mb is very noticable (I have a dual boot with win xp on the machine on which SL detects the 256Mb in total)
4. Somehow the colors in SL seem to be fainted a little (not as bright as they are in SL on WInXP), even with the same hardware and driver settings.

So I wonder, is there some one with a simuliar graphical card experiencing the same?

I'll keep sending my crashreports so if it is a SL problem it can be solved some day/year/century :-)

P.s. If you wonder how I managed to get ForceWare to work with the M110, I modified the .inf file so my card got recognized. This is possible because all NVidia cards use a universal driver that works on all cards. Only the installer blocks the software for some cards.
