Before I begin: Sim border crossings appear to be MUCH slower in 1.11.

Hopped in yesterday and headed out for a cruise. Noticed that after I crossed a sim border, stalling no longer worked. Tried it several times, discovered it would fix itself after 10 seconds to a minute. Did further testing and found out the weak gravity effects of the vehicle system (before I start messing with it, that is) stop working for a little bit after a border crossing. Filed a bug report, #355210. Am working on some code to (hopefully) work around it, but I need to get some ZZZs before I go on.

Also discovered an occasional tendency to slingshot backwards at about 150 knots right after crossing a sim border. Funny as hell but not so great for a production vehicle. I spent all night tracing it down and found out what was causing it. Patched version is out now. Not sure why it was fine in 1.10 and wacky now, but I suspect it has to do with sim border crossings, which are a lot slower in 1.11.

I was playing with a freebie hoverpod last night when the grid came back up, and I got hit by the "slingshot back" every time I crossed a sim border on the Azure sims where I live. The last time I got hit by the slingback, I ended up off the grid somewhere. I tried to TP home three times before I got back to normal, but I have no idea where the hover pod is now. Wasn't returned to my lost and found or anything. Did it de-rez? I hope so. It was copyable, so no loss at all if it did.

Someone was also flying by my home in a helicopter, and my parcel being near a sim border, I watched as they crossed the border, and the helicopter promptly crashed into the water. Not sure if he went off world to, but he never came bac. Was actually kinda scary to watch. O.o

So, it looks like there's some major problems crossing sim borders.
