I cant use any of my buttons down below with out crashing ... every time i click on my friends /fly/find/and inventory button ... i crash .... hard ... ?????? what up with that ..hummm ... i have not a clue .... any suggestions ???? ZEHP   |

delete the cache, delete the app's prefs too... have to set up any custom prefs again, but bad prefs is my guess. good luck!!

ok ive tried driver 78.01/77.77/71.89/61.77..
and im still crashing and i ve even up dated my VIA for my mother board ver 4.43
so whats next i keep crashing .. i never had this before
OH! even unistalled and reeenstalled sl .. 2 ytimes already ... shadow are truned off ...
andy one esle with some clues ... i was oke about 2 weeks ago ... now this is happeneing hummmm

My own machine started doing this to me a few weeks ago (VIA mobo/nvidia fx5600). It started in SL and rapidly spread until Windows would no longer boot while I had an nvidia card plugged in (I lasted a while longer by switching to an FX5200, but that too gave out).
I'm temporarily on an ATI Radeon9200SE which is holding me for the moment, but hardly ideal, and there's some odd...issues. Makes me wonder if the PCI or AGP bridges haven't cracked up on me for some reason.

Rememeber folks, Winxp has a system restore function, if you were working ok a few weeks ago, try restoring to a point you know everything worked correctly. If the problem persists, it may very well be a hardware issue.

The card they Recommened for my system Is a GeForce gt 6600 Video x8 APG 128mb ... this is the one they had told me that will will my my comp ... mi8ght work with others i dont know ... This is just the one they said ... affter i gave them the run down of my whole system here ... Im just wiat ing for it to arrive ... . Smiles ... And the ppl there are so nice .. maybe .. others can do this too just they would now what card would work the best with you r comp ect ... it worth a shot Takes out all the guessing ... and possilbe wasted money on some thing that will not work dont know to you all but even 200.00 is a lot .. to save up for me ... so id rather be safe then sorry ... hope this helps ppl out there ... eight a nivida card or a ati ... smiles have a good day |
