First time I have tried using this and it just doesn't save anything at all... Don't know if I am doing it right or not. Figured it might just be like the snapshot but in video. But doesn't save anything at all? Also I would like to format the video into MPEG4, what would i need for that?

Some people can, some can't. I have never been able to using the SL recorder but I have been able to with programs like Mr. Captor and Fraps.

If you let your game idle for a little while after, it sometimes helps while your computer is saving. The sl vid. capturing feature is rather bothering to some computers. Give it some time, then pout and scream and get some video capturing software.
