Editing Issues

So here is my problem,

Whenever I click on an object that doesn't belong to me, and open the edit menu, everything is greyed out. I cant even see who owns the object in question, even if i have edit rights from the owner of it

what do I have to do to make it work again?

In your preferrences make sure you do not have "edit only my objects" checked. That might be "select only my objects". One of those anyway.

Tools > Select only my objects... uncheck that option. Should help.

I just ended up uninstalling and redownloading SL, fixed it
