hi everybody!

well, I am also one of these annoying newbies, that dont have any clue :-)

I tried to go through the forum to find a solution for my problem, but nothing helped.

I got a base hair, which is short black with some hair on the forehead if I dont wear any hairstyle.
if I try to wear a bald base from one of the shops to change eybrows and having no hair anymore, that you dont see it with new hair, the black short hair just doesnt disappear and then I got 2x2 eyebrows.

I want to go baaaald! :-)
can anyone help me out?

Just to make sure -- your base hair is hair made with the sliders, and not hair made out of prims (i.e. objects)?

If you don't know, here's one way to find out. Zoom in close to yourself, and right-click on your head. If your hair gets surrounded by yellow outlines, then you have prim hair, and it's an object. It won't go away if you change your hair for a "bald base".

If your hair is basic slider hair then... dunno. Try a different bald base; it may just be something wrong with the one you're trying.

Are you trying to wear a bald base from one shop with the hair from another? I think those "bald bases" are a specific shape for the top of your head. Since they would be made for a specific style (or a specific creator's hair), then they might not work well together. The base may be too wide, tall, or deep for the hair, thereby messing it up totally.

If this is the case, you just may not be able to wear them together. You may need to get in contact with the creator of the hair to see if they have a bald base that would work.

Hope this helps. Hope we can call you "Curly" soon. :)
