Okay..I have been having issues for some time and just recently started addresing them. SL seems to the cause if not the catalyst for all my computer woes.

I have been using a Dell Inspiron 9200 laptop and have been running sl on it for about a year a year without any problems.

Then, about 3 months ago I kept getting blue screen crashes when in SL from time to time and I finally determined that I had some bad ram. I had 2 gigs in the computer so I am now down to 1 gig.

I do not get the blue screen crashes now, however the sytem is much more sluggish now that half the ram is gone (which is understandable) but without warning it will just Freeze and lock the entire computer down, and this only happens in SL.

I plan on replacing the lost ram however I am not sure if this will correct my current problem with SL.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
