Someone posted a solution to a crash fix, which involved uninstalling SL, and going through the registry and removing all entries that have "Second Life" in the key.

I haven't been crashing, but I have been having the "everything is grey on login" problem, even when I just log out and log right back in again.

I decided to try that solution, and wonder of wonders it seems to have solved the problem. SL is once again using the cache for stuff on login...
