I have been trying to log into SL for about a half hour now. The loading bar stops at connecting to sim, or verifying protocol version. A message appears stating that SL is down. What should i do?

i was able to login then crashed. tried to log back in and now im having the same problem.

"Verifying protocol version" means your firewall, internet security, or Norton software is blocking SL. See:

I too am having the same problem with log in. I get stuck in connecting to region. Anyone else having problems?
