SL down for hours for maintenance and now grid is failing

They take the grid down for hours this morning for maintenance and now, TPs failing, logins failing, any request to the assest server is failing. What exactly did they do while offline, have a party?

I got first my clock was wrong and now ooops something has gone wrong yeah its called i Kicked a Linden in the ASS !

2:46 PM PST] We’re got more problems inworld right now. What’s happening here is we’re experiencing large amounts of packet loss to our Dallas colocation facility. This is resulting in numerous inworld problems including but not limited to: teleports breaking, avatars unable to move, L$ balances not showing up (your L$ is not gone, it just hasn’t loaded yet), transactions failing, and general degradation of the Second Life experience.

We’ve already contacted the colo facility and are now waiting to hear back from them to either resolve it or give us more info.

Well SL will be down for the rest of the night i can tell

This is fusterating for people who own business....to have this constantly happen...and its been this way for a few days.

This game is too big for it's own good...

Wanted to put in the obligatory "me too" post. Am currently ghosted and unable to return. With my alt I have lost three inventory items, have the never-ending pending attachment, half of my known good scripted attachments fail to do anything, and on and on and on.

Ah, I feel just marginally better now

To ameliorate the situation, we’ve moved to a different provider for the time being — packet loss has significantly decreased. We’re continuing to monitor the situation, both in and out of world.

It's frustrating for people who don't own a business too.
