Hello there. My internet connection is a standard DSL with around 320 kbps down and 50 kbps up. My work requires every employee to use the bittorrent network at home to seed the company files so that every employee can work at home if he/she wishes. so I am wondering how much bandwidth SL take? I know SL downloads alot of stuff during the playing session but I am wondering how much exactly. If anyone could give me a number I would really appreciate it since I am making a choice of playing SL or not based on the bandwidth useage. Thanks alot.

Up to 1Mb, but it will use whatever you let it up to that. There's a slider in the Networks tab of preferences.

Watch ingame video and it goes...quite high easy hit 20gig/month download, lost my stat thingie -.-, but normal SL use is about 300-700kbs' expect least a 1 gig a day if you hop around in SL and actually let it rez  |

You can also limit the upload/download bandwidth of BitTorrent to leave room for SL.

I play SL about 8 hours a day and use about 1.2GB per day. Feeds my addiction but leaves little room to download anything else =) (Damn limited plan)
