Okay, I have a wierd problem, I have my XM radio receiver plugged into the Line-In jack of my sound card, it's all fine and dandy until I start the SL Client, then it sounds like my music is echoing, like the audio got doubled, it gets a wierd echo and the volume increases. I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this problem, but I check my mixer settings and the like, and I'm not seeing anything strange. Any opinions? Thanks!

I have had similar problems, turn off detect hardware at startup, add -noprobe to the end of the secondlife.exe shortcut

From: Teddy Tiger Tried it, still won't work. Submitted a bug report to LL but still no response. Bug reports don't normally get a reply like it sez when you send one, so you should prolly contact support@secondlife.com and check with other Creative and XM Radio users too. I had some very odd glitches with Audigy cards before... I know they're so popular, but the resampling quality (and a few other things) really had corners cut on them. You may also want to mute different sliders on the Creative Mixer, one after another and isolate inputs+outputs. What you describe sounds like audio is being improperly looped around and around, creating that "doubled-up" effect like feedback. Best of hope!
