everytime i try to dl the new patch i get this From: someone NSIS error
The installer you are trying to use is corrupt or incomplete.
This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.
You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.
It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch
(NOT RECOMMENDED). so.. what now.. i cannot play SL anymore |

I just had a download end with an error message, I don't think that has ever happened to me with an SL download.

Hmm... I didn't get that error, but the update doesn't seem to be working for me... actually none them have. o.o; Anyway, you could always try downloading it from the site if the automatic updater doesn't work.

A handful of people got this message while we replaced the website download with a new executable. Generally, you just need to wait five minutes, then download from http://secondlife.com/download again. This is a pretty rare error. |

@ Lee: The error I get is "CRASH" when I click on "install upgrade" from the login screen. The sl client disappears and Windows XP starts sending an error report to Microsoft Land. I always have to manually download and install the latest release. The reply to my tech support email to LL said "check my virus scanner" but I had it off all five times. No biggie as I have the manual workaround, but if you want my dxdiag or something sometime, would be glad to provide. Thanks for all the work on the upgrade. Rezzing Is...
