Hi all, im new to SL and have been experiencing some horrible performance issues (pings upwards of 6000ms and FPS under 10). I was wondering if the AGP graphics option is intended to be greyed out and unselected, as it is in my preferences ? I have a Sapphire Radeon 9600XT running at 8x AGP on a K7 triton with a 3gig AMD stuck in it.

From: frank Dapto Why exactly is this disabled ? It's disabled in the client configuration file, and the comment that goes together with it in that file is, it's due to very poor performance with this option enabled while using something like a year-old by now ATI graphics drivers. You can enable this option by editing file "featuretable.txt" which is located in main folder of SL client. Scroll down until you find "// Disable AGP entirely, in Catalyst 4.3 it's at least 50% slower" comments, then change the line "RenderAGP" below each of them so it reads "RenderAGP 1 0" (there's at least 4 entries like that) with this change saved, when you start the SL client the AGP option will be no longer disabled. It's reported it actually improves performance with recent ATI drivers, so you can try it if you feel bold enough ^^;
