Um.... Hmmm.
Call LL directly and bitch. Also, make sure you haven't simply been hacked. |

It's exceptionally likely that you're simply not receiving your inventory. This is especially true if you have any firewall or Norton software. See:

Yes. In fact, that's the definition of a firewall. If you're talking about specific inventory items showing up and others not, well, that's probably not your firewall's fault. yes....my point |

Just for the hell of it, try disabling your firewall and see if the inventory appears. Lee may have a point in that inventory comes from a different server than does the environment. Just because your firewall allows your computer to talk to one SL server doesn't mean it wants to let you talk to all of them. If disabling the firewall does indeed allow you to receive inventory, then I'd suggest deleting your current firewall rule(s) for SL, and opening the ports mentioned in Lee's link before re-enabling it. If it doesn't, then by all means call up LL and get someone on the case right away. _____________________

I've had a couple residents for whom, upon hijacking their account temporarily and logging in here at Linden, the "lost" item appeared after a short delay. Some of these items may be showing up later as the inventory streams, and when there's a software firewall installed, we never know exactly how it's going to interfere (just that it's likely to).

Lee, can you hijack my account when you get the time?
I need to see once and for all if my firewalls are the culprits or not ty |
