Has anyone else had problems with the update.

Before the update i was able to run xchat and be on sl. But after the update installed by comp computer's barely able to run sl. I've also been having trouble getting my computer to shut down properly. Is there anything that can be done to fix this aside from buying more ram *due to lack of spare cash*?

Try uninstalling SL completely and reinstalling from the downloads page. SL has been having trouble with some people using the client update. Reloading seems to cure a lot of the problems.
