Support be damned!

In my 1st 1/2 hr in SL i was transported off orientation island as the region went down. Then my account was locked out for 2 days within my 1st few wks in SL on timeout loging messages.
Then on the same day my 2nd mthly premium charge cwas debited on my account page I was locked out for a further 2 wks! After 2 dys of being locked out on cant login to region messages the latest time I tried to start a new account to login. It stated the account was successfully created and I was to wait for activation codes to activate it. They never arrived and calls to account and tech services to send them have been ignored. I also havnt recieved a response from an email to Tolrey Linden to fix it.

Now if the 2nd account wasnt created why did My VISA get debited a few days later for $75 US?

As for my 1st account after not recieving the new account the next day I logged technical support tickets over the next few days to get logged back in, without success. Despite getting return mails saying the problem was fixed. 1 was less tiem than it would take to read my report, much less the SL log attachments sent with it!

I Have a P4 wit 1.5 M RAM, XP pro, broardband that isnt wireless. I also didnt have any of the other problems mentioned in the ticket pre lodging process. My 1st ticket lodged dissapeared after the reply to my 2nd ticket responce arrived. Asking me to resend the logs and and win mtr results. The winmtr and support ticket links sent with the reply messages dont connect up! Then surprisingly i relogged back in 2 wks later without any changes to my computer!!!

i have now paid $75 US for an account i dont own and $24 US for an acount that lags badly if i can get on. I have prim items i created that I wasnt allowed to edit! plus numerious other SL standard problems.

Thats $99 US I get little but grief from! Shouldnt SL repay me $75 for the account they havnt given me access to despite numerious messages asking them to provide the access codes for without success??? And what about the 1st account that ive lost 1/2 a mths access to???

Oh and as my account reached 2 wks into its 2nd mth i should have been getting payment of pocket $ as well!!! And that hasnt happened either. Buyer beware is right. I wont pay anymore to these swindlers and grief merchants. They have had lots of time to fix all my complaints but just send more repeat questions to things ive already said ive done. thats if they do respond at all! Which is a lot.

SL service is a joke based on what ive recieved. And im not the only 1 with a low oppinon of SL integrety. The phrase thats SL get used to it is far too common!!!

The normal forums are closed off from posting new topics and after all the non responsive tickets ive lodged what else can i do other than post here and lodge with American consumer affairs! So ive done both. As Im not American im not sure what they will do.

I haven't had any problems myself...but from what I hear support from LL can be tricky. Hopefully they can grow into a good support system.

Oh so so sad! I really hope you get this fixed! What a nightmare, these types of issues should not happen. If this was say 2 years ago i say ok. But this is 2007 not 2005, when some people use to get billed 5 , or even 50 on their Credit Card for screwed up monthly payments. As Brandi said in a way go thur the support system and make sure you talk to atleast 2 Lindens not just one.
