Random Logging in issue ....

Sometimes, like now, I'll have SL running but the login screen doesn't appear which means that I have to restart my computer so I can get the login screen to be able to log on and use SL .... and it's really annoying having to do this to use the program so is there anything I can do about this? I have never experienced this kind of an issue before either, in fact, it only started after I downloaded the latest update. Thanks!

One of the most basic things to try is completely uninstall and reinstall Second Life.

Do you get any error messages? What you can also check is to see if for whatever reason, SecondLife.exe is still running in the Windows Task Manager by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del and looking for it, so you can force-quit it manually.
