At some point yesterday, one of the places they house the servers for SecondLife has some sort of issue. It was bad enough that in one of the Blog entries LL mentioned having to 'Move the stacks'. Any problem that requires stacks of expensive computer equipment to be physically moved is REALLY bad. You don't shove around things that are the size of a refridgerator, weigh 400+ lbs, and are worth close to 6 figures, unless something is really wrong.
And a problem of that magnitude is bound to have repurcussions. Unfortuantely, it seems that we're feeling one such repurcussion today.

From: Dnali Anabuki A flood or fire? Some sort of physical threat to the building? Or did someone forget to pay the rent? No idea, but this is what was posted: From: someone The ops team is moving banks of simulators to get them back on the network as quickly as possible. From: someone Our operations team continues to move and enable banks of simulators and the number of enabled regions continues to increase as they do so.
