Hello,
Im a new SL citizen, quite busy building a nice place in my land , but after working out a pool with some poseballs I did some kind of mistake that maked the whole pool vanish! *cries* the pool is still there because I trip over it... but it is totally invisible! I can't select it, neither.
Its really painful because it's a nice object that I had along with the land and I can't help, what ever I do it remains invisible.

Any one help? :o

First, try the easy check:

Go to view, and select highlight transparent. That should make everything around you (or on you) that is "invisible" or have a .tga texture look red and slighty transparent. You should be able to select and edit the pieces now. First go to the Texture tab in the Edit window and look at the Transparency selector. Check to see if it says anything other than 0. If it says something other than that, take it all the way to 0 and everything should hopefully become visible. You may have to select "Edit Linked Parts" and select the water afterwards to bring it back to the way it originally looked by bringing that transparency level up again for the water ONLY.

If that isn't it, try these:

If you have everything linked, select "Edit Linked Parts" and inspect all of them one by one to see if the texture isn't a transparent one (you will see only a grey and white checkerboard in the texture viewer if it was a transparent texture) or if there wasn't a transparent or a show/hide script accidentally dropped into it. If the textures are trans, you will have to replace the textures, if there are scripts, you will want to remove them and pray that it goes back to normal. If it is a show/hide script, before you remove the script, say the show command so at least it is visible before removing the script. You also afterwards might have to pick up the pool and replace it.

Did I miss anything??

Thank you Rav for your kind reply,

Well, I've checked the "Highlight Transparent" in the view menu and yes, I can see all my textures with transparency becoming red, but the pool remains invisible, not even red :(

I have also checked under Beacons: Script Objets, Physical Objets, Particle Sources and if all my pose balls are clearely shown in the parcel, the 2 ones from the pool are still not.

Zooming out, I do a square by left clicking where the pool is, everything is selected around but no trace of the pool, neither

I believe that my mistake was to link the pool together with it's pose balls and then when balls been hidden, the pool has been hidden too. Now I type /show, / show, /1 show.... nothing happens... grrr

Oh boy....looks like you have the disappearing objects disease. This happens in SL where objects mysteriously delete. One thing you can do, and this might be the best bet, is contact the maker of the pool to see if they can offer you a replacement. This happened to me once and all LL could say is, "We can do a server rollback" and that just scared me. Check your objects in your land information as well, and cross-reference that with the objects that you can actually see/highlight/edit. If they match up with what is there, it looks like your pool went poof.

Yup, I've made the count of what I can select in the whole land and I found 225 prims including the plants. Nevertheless the land infos says 269 prims, so I bet the pool is counted.
The funny thing is that I can trip on it, climb and I guess I can even take a bath but I can't see it
lol, the pool went poof but it have'nt went splash! It is there and it is present while it's not showing up. :(
