 anyone know why me and every other av is green in my world?? Of course if I camera rotate around my av, I get a full spectrum of colors from red, to yellow, to green to black  It's pretty but I'd like to see my very expensive skin in it's normal colors please |

I need help please!!!!! I am green since I update the version
 I remove the the new version and download again and then installed again and it's the same I have a 64mb ATI Radeon X300 on my Laptop can you help me with that? |

Thats pretty funky, would be good to have a check box option to toggle it on and off when you're in the mood for it

Relatively easy fix. Turn off avatar vertex.
Its basically a new form of rendering light across the body of your avatar using SLGL paths, unless you have newer Nvidia and ATI drivers (6.3 omega/ATI for instance... and I dont know which Nvidia driver) Yes, vertex looks nicer... but if you just want to have your avatar work, turn it off. |

Hi all these are the instructions to help you if you look green like i was
In the toolbar in the upper left corner, look for Edit, click edit, and scroll down to preferences. click preferences, and a box should open, named "Preferences". click the tab labelled "Graphics Detail", and there should be a row of 3 check boxes. Uncheck the box named "Avatar Vertex Program", and click OK And that's it!!! Have Fun!!!! |

According to the System Specs on the website:
ATI Video cards lower than X600 are not 'officially' supported, and it may be due to their inability to perform some functionality in the new version. So things like this may be due to them adding functionality that are only in newer cards (such as vertex shading). Some folks with older cards that 'ran fine' might complain with the new version, but the minimum specs are posted for a reason. |

*wipes brow* I was having a WTF moment! I had just gotten my computer back from having the display PCA replaced... updated SL to find a little green me and many other colors of the rainbow. Updated my drivers, still green. I'm just so happy it was just an option I needed to change in SL.

I got the same problem even with the drivers updated. Is anyone else getting this problem though? Turn on the avatar vertex program, use bump&cloth, and sun&moon lighting...
 Where are my baby blues? *sulk* And what is up with the shoulders/upper arms? _____________________
