Hi,

I'm trying to upload a small image, and I keep getting errors. For a .JPG I get LLImageJ2C uninitialized, for .BMP I get KDU throwing an exception, and for .TGA I get KDU throwing an exception.

Any ideas why? I was able to upload a few images previously. I've already tried logging out and logging back in.

I don't know what KDU is, but J2C is an extension for JPEG2000 codestream files. I'd imagine therefore that LLImageJ2C is probably the conversion utility that reformats images to JPEG2000 just prior to upload. It sounds like that conversion is failing for you for some reason. Since you say it worked before, my guess is either something got corrupted or maybe your system is just too low on memory so it's starting to freak out.

First, reboot your machine and see if it helps. It probably won't but it's worth a shot. Next, try doing a system restore to a day when you know it was working. You might also want to uninstall SL and then reinstall it.

I'm getting this error too when trying to upload small (4x4) TGAs. KDU, I believe, is an acronym/abbreviation for the Kakadu JPEG2000 CODEC(?) SL uses. My system has plenty of RAM so it has to be something in Kakadu or SL. It seems 8x8 pixels is the smallest image SL allows to be uploaded. Yet another stupid limit!
