Kim, you're saying that in order to see other avatars or their attachments, you find you need to switch your group tag? Is that correct?
Does this happen every time? Do you need to switch your group tag to see every avatar, or can you sometimes see them without having to do that? How long has this been happening? Has it only been since you've been on cable? Are you also on a wireless network? In Help > About Second Life, What does it say for "Packets Lost"? (For instance, mine says "Packets Lost: 1/39909 (0.0%)" ![]() _____________________

I'm getting this all the time as well and I haven't changed my system.
I presume it is a bug. _____________________

How long have you had cable? Have you been able to run SL without problems since you had it, or has it only been since you've had cable that there have been problems? I have cable 4 long time till I move and got this cable. when i was gone there was that update last week or so, so I dunno it's my new cable or SL. |

So you're saying that you've only seen this problem since you've had your current cable connection, despite having had cable at another location? Was it with a different provider before? Yeah new cable new company I am getting more info on them truning out i'm not liking it rofl. Sum1 told me look into ports me have no clue on it LOL |

Priority Entertainment lol Do you know what firewall software you're running? Is there a router, or just your cable modem? Are you running anything by Norton? _____________________

I have no firewall running, no router, and no anti virus program
lol, They put a tiny lil box on the cable then run the cable cord to my puter. I have a cable modem but they said I don't need it. |

Well, you are getting fairly notable packet loss... I have to assume that it's related if the problem started when you switched ISPs. In Edit > Preferences > Network, try scaling your bandwidth slider back a bit... say, set it to 200 or so.
Does that help? What was it set to originally? _____________________

If you turn it back up, does packet loss increase? It might not be related to your problem.
