Hi,

I am just about to buy this machine, and was wondering if anyone has the same model and knows of any issues with running SL on it? I read somewhere that users reported problems with overheating when stressing its 3D graphics for longer periods of time.

T61p is a NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M

The following cards have not been tested with Second Life, and compatibility is not certain:

nVidia cards that report as Quadro

In other words, it wont work/eventually so highly recommend you dont get one of those if youre getting it for SL.
