Its tellin me that my card will not perform right and slower since its a PCI?
I have a p4 pentium 3.4, 1gb dual channel ddr memory and a 6600GT PCI-Express 128mb DDR3 memory.. i can run the game but it takes a while for buildings and stuff to load is that normal? should i just not worry about the warning or should things instantly render houses and terrain with my set up or any good set up?

I just got a new nvidia GeForce 6600 GT PCI-E card installed in my machine last night (I had an ATI card before). The first time I logged into SL after getting the new card installed, the client did have the information about PCI cards being slower and not optimum for SL. However, there was a sentence further down in the paragraph that stated that if you have a PCI-E card, you should go to your game settings once logged in (under Edit - Preferences) and manually choose the AGP option. Otherwise, I assume that the system would set you to run at the PCI (i.e. older and slower) speed.

I think if you change your setting to AGP, your game will run the way it should. I believe that the PCI-E format is new enough that LL hasn't yet added an option for it, but I don't think your game performance will be compromised as a result.
