Graphics card errors :(

Hello

I recently bought a new laptop and after checking SL's website prior to buying it made sure SL would work on it.

When today I first tried to launch SL I got an error saying either it's not supported by SL or the drivers aren't up to date. I just did the normal microsoft update through window's so I hope they are the latest drivers..

This is the card: 256MB nVidia® GeForce™ Go 7300 TurboCache graphics card NVIDIA®

All other applications/game work perfectly apart from when I tried to launch SL today.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

download the drivers @ nvidia.com (its pretty direct and ez)

microsoft drivers suck royal ass, and theres a good chance ms "upgraded" your computer with windows update

You do know the Go 7300 uses system ram as well as a small amount of on board ram?

NVIDIA TurboCache Technology
Combines the capacity and bandwidth of dedicated video memory with dynamically allocated system memory—to turbocharge graphics performance.

Did you try the notebook manufacturer’s website? I know for example HP notebooks provide their own updates for the graphics cards they put in their machines.
