too bad I cant seem to get double the pleasure ;-O. or double the $L

I have been able to duplicate the non duplicatable by this bug..

I have a 2.8 AMD XP on a gigabyte motherboard a Gforce 5200FX with 256mem on it
and a 1g of Ram
the HD is a 160M sata drive.. anyway its not my machine or the software etc I have installed..

its something weird with my linksys BEFSR41 Ver4

I just recently changed my DLS modem..

the game runs fine when I run the modem direct to my computer..

but when run through my router, no mater how I seem to have it configured I get doubled almost as if everthing has a consistent echo..

anyway as near as I can tell it seems to be something weird the way the router handles NAT..

has anyone encountered this and if so what was there solution.

*logs back in and goes to look for some handsome twins*

Sounds like the familier two computer problem on a single router only with one computer... hmmm, might try assigning a port for your instance of SL and see if it cures it. Right click your SL icon on the desktop, select properties and where it says target add a space then -port 13000 after SecondLife.exe . It should look like this

\SecondLife.exe" -port 13000

the space is important. Apply and exit.

Try that and see if it helps

I thought that might have been the case after reading the wiki support pages and tried that myself.

saddly it didnt work..

I would think that the Linksys BEFSR41 ver would be a common router.

the only other thing I havent tried yet is the modem going through the router to the comp without any other comps attached.

Check and see if there is a firmware update for your router.
