I am having a problem with the "partners proposal" system. I've gone to the correct web page ( http://secondlife.com/community/partners.php) and submitted the proposal with my partner's name. But she doesn't seem to be receiving the proposal email. To be honest, I'm a little unclear as to exactly how the partner proposal is supposed to work. It says the proposal is sent via email...does she have to have anything specific set up in game? E.G.: she doesn't have the "email IM's" feature turned on- she does, however, receiving billing information from Linden Labs to her account email address. It would be nice if this was handled all in-game instead of via the web interface...but I guess wishing won't get me anywhere  It would probably help me to have the whole process, even an idea of what the email my partner should receive looks like, laid out. Any guidance/input would be appreciated. Thanks! |

It will be a very obvious email with the subject line something like "partner proposal".
Have her check her spam folder as that is where my wife's ended up.

Hmmm: okay, thanks, Macphisto- I'll have her check. I'm going to guess that emails with the word "proposal" in them get filtered by a lot of anti-spam applications  |
