someone help me before i explode into a ball of pixels!!

not one to normally complain on the forums about lagging and unhelpful help, i finally solved my laggy problem with the last versionand now this version has driven me insane and as a builder its a joke trying to build. okay so textures rez in better, but thats the use when my mini-livleyhood is messed up.

i hvae updated my AGP graphics card drivers etc and all the other sherbang needed but its not helping. and given respect to the lindens, there always online, but bless ya cotton sock if i hear the same answers for every question despite me telling you i ahve tried it, then one i have exhausted all options saying "ooo weird better e-mail support" who tell me the same things the lindens have told me.

I hvae a 2 mg connection, 1GB ram, 2x 125 gb hard drive, AGP ATI graphics card. oo Windows XP with service pack 2, errrrm anything else.. oo an AMD Athelon processor. and one more thing, i dont have packet loss. I have followed ALL forums advice about dos and donts of lag and they are about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

i have tried everything . one question, can i have a simple answer. Why am i lagging, even after taking all advice. I am of avaerage intelligence and dont need the idiots guide, but dont want some computer techie person trying to make me feel stupid by using computer jargon etc.

dudes honestly i need help

Hang in there Kat, I'm having the same problems you are but I get the impression that no one really knows what is going on just yet. I have a pretty good system as well and my drivers are up to date but I can barely move in Federal and this is the first time in a year and half that an update has brought me to my knees. It is typical of SL for an update to take a bit to shake out and it is also typical the the Lindens issue a patch for the update pretty quickly once they see where the problems are.

Best you can do right now is make yourself a margarita and ride the storm out.
