Hi all . I'm contemplating buying one of the new IMacs, either G5 or Dual Core, at 17'' or 19''. Has anyone been using them? How do they run SL. What should I be looking for? Be weary of? Can I put just any graphics card in them? Thanks in advance for any info you can provide

Hi Stephane, I'm using the MacBook Pro with the dual core Intel processor and SL is very fast! If you look at the Mac Duscussion forum, within the technical Issues forum, you'll see a lot of anecdotal stuff. But the bottom line is that the alpha of the universal binary runs very well, and the preview of the next version of sl is already a universal binary.

the G5s are the past, they are the older PPC machines that apple is phasing out. Unless you really need a PPC mac, your better of getting an intel Mac.
