I've noticed a couple times over the last week a sudden increase in streaming audio levels. The volume changes from the low-level I have set with the slider to seemingly full-volume. It hasn't happened enough to track the reason or a pattern, and a simple click of <stop> then <play> resets the stream to correct levels.
This has happend to me with two different computers in two different states. It happened last Saturday night before the patch, after the patch, and again after the secondary patch. It has occurred with two completely different stream sources.

Yep, I saw that here tonight, too. I happened to be scripting at the time, but I don't think it corresponded to anything I did.

I saw the same thing, and reported it as a bug in SL. The volume for JUST STREAMING MUSIC would suddenely go from my default setting of about 5% on the slider (at the bottom of the SL client) to full volume. The slider itself wouldn't move, and no other sounds on my computer would change (i.e. the system volume didn't change). There didn't seem to be any pattern as to when it would happen. Sometimes it would happen when I'm off working in FireFox or PSP, and it would sometimes happen inworld while flying or walking around or even working on a script. The way to fix it was to just touch the inworld streaming music volume slider, or to move it. It would fix the volume until another blast of 100% volume sound a bit later on!
