I've only been in SL for a few months but noticed since the last two "forced" updates weird things are happening.
1st - When I used to go "afk" all I had to do was move my mouse to turn it "off" as I'm back. NOW when I go "afk" I can't get out of it when I get back. The only way for me to "stand upright" without the "afk" tag is to shut down SL and restart. I see other people not having this problem as they seem to be normal. I tried looking through preferences and other menus for hopefully something that says "return from afk on mouse" or something to that effect like I have with other chat programs I've used. No luck. And without live help I can't solve this rather annoying problem quickly.
2nd Yea, like many I'm having an inventory loss problem. I've only noticed gestures missing so far but once it starts I doubt it's the last I'll see. I don't really care much about the freebie type stuff but anything I "PAID" for that's missing will just tick me off if I lose it especially since I can't get it back nor will I be compensated for that.
3rd again like most people when I enter a sim or even log on period I'm either missing attachments like hair or shoes or jewelry or they are in the strangest places. When I detach to try and reposition it, I either can't even reattach them at all unless I restart SL, or it won't let me detach at all! I've lost a few items this way, items I paid for and can't get back without buying again because it suddenly "poofs" when this situation happens, not in my inventory at all.
I realize there's a lot of problems, and with increase of growth there will be "growing pains" but I agree with another resident who stated somewhere that current problems need to be resolved and resolved now, quickly, not yesterday or next month instead of just increasing the community. There should be a small "group" that focuses only on expansion and the rest dedicated to fixing the problems.
If anyone can help me at all at least with the AFK problem that would be helpful. I'm afraid the other two will have to be a "wait and see" thing to solve.
Thanks
