I've been trying to open a new account (alt). I enter th information, it says I have to pay and that I've already used my free trial, then it takes me to a blank screen and tops there.

ANyone successfully made a new account in the last couple days? Anyone know if there is something I can do? I sent off an email to SL, but I guess theydont work weekends and I'd like to get this character up and running for tomorrow.

Thanks

Still can't.

I really want to make another character, I hope this gets fixed soon.

You do. I put in my info, but when it should be processing everything, I just get a blank page.

I too am experienceing the same thing. Get the welcome fill in info and then free trial has been exceeded you will be charged immediately. button to continue says Create Your Second Life Account then it goes to a blank page https://secondlife.com/join/index.php/Ninety-Day plue a whole bunch of numbers and letters that looks like where it would be confirming that i have paid for the alt account

A friend had that same problem this weekend -- figured it was a Mac issue -- maybe not. The workaround was to use a different credit card. However, she lost her first choice name, because it was already locked out. Fortunately, she was undecided, so was happy enough with her second choice.

I had the same problem - I simply called LL tech support and they were able to complete the registration for the desired name manually.

I found I have a character that I made a long time ago (7/04) The name isn't what I wanted, but it's exotic enough to work. At least that means I can still make 2 more characters (Since I don't have the orig credit card the other character was set up on).
