I've had a problem with other people's avatars not being displayed while their attachments are for a long time now, along with other problems. I ran into a well known sculptor and described my trouble and and he said he had the same problem. I asked him to please bug report it and he said no, he didn't want to make work, that the programmers were probably busy enough already. I think that line of thought is way off the mark because there is no way for the bug fixing crew to accurately gauge what priority to assign to bugs if people aren't reporting them. The sculptor's failure to report his problem won't reduce the workload for the programming staff one bit but it might alter the order in which they work on problems. Some problems can be solved by the user with tricks and restarting but one should not be having to use tricks or restart with any significant frequency. Filing bug reports may not only get your problem solved but also help others with the same problem. So please take the time to file bug reports.
