everytime I try to login a window appears stating " could not resolve domain name agni.lindenlab.com
has anyone seen this before? what should I do? I spent a lot of money for a annual membership and I cant play it. any ideas would be helpful regarding this. Thanks

Hmm. What is the version number in the bottom right corner of your login screen? My guess is that you need to upgrade to 1.7.1.
Agni.lindenlab.com doesn't exist, but login1.agni.lindenlab.com does. Maybe they changed it.

Thanks First question can you get to the internet at all? When I get that message it means I have lost me internet connection and have to reset it. TO reset go to run and type in cmd hit enter when the black window comes up type ipconfig/all hit enter and wait for it to stop spewing stuff then type ipconfig/release hit enter and wait again then type ipconfig/renew when it finishes close your black window and try to log in fixes mine every time  |

GOOD DAY TO YOU JORDI This is mentioned alot but if you have firewall of a software kind or hardware on your router, turn 'em all off—do your darnest to connect directly to the Internet without any interference in between, and if you find you can make it onto SL, then there's likely some portblocking going on. Makes it easier to figure out after that. |
