I start up SL and it makes my monitor go to standby, then when i reboot my pc and try to open it again.. it says it has crashed.. i have updated my drivers and i meet all system requirements. My computer should be able to run SL perfectly fine.. but it will NOT work.. does anyone have any suggestions?? Ohh and i have looked through WIKI

Similar Situation

After experiencing no problems since initial log in, all of a sudden whenever I stepped foot on my property, I would crash. I had Lindens and Bug Tester's out to my property and after detaching all attachments, updating Graphics drivers etc, what worked was for me to clear my IE cache: cookies, history, temp files. Uninstall SL and Reinstall. Hope this works, best of luck.

Your computer is probably overheating. Take the case off and see if that helps.
