So far I've lost L$1,600...

I tried to buy an L$800 today and got this message:

"[2:32] The system is currently unable to process your request. The request timed out."

I didn't lose any money at the time, but when I relogged I was missing the 800...

I tried Live help and they told me I'd have to message the owner of the vendor if I wanted to get my money back, which, of course, I can't do because SL is being a piece of ass and won't let me message him (so helpful!)

After a while Teeple Linden sent out a message saying it was fixed, I wait a copule hours to make sure and tried again, and the exact same thing happened again.



I want my L$1,600, Linden Labs...

Ditto - 2K gone with nothing to show.

But you got one step further then I did... Live help is down now too.

I sorry to hear this...........file a bug report and see what happenes. Never trust lindens these days. Because the too don`t know if its REALLY working of not.....They have nothing to lose like we do.

Try clearing your cache, sometimes this works for lost items in inventory. Can't hurt.

I know it's not directly the problem you're seeing here, but it's closely related: the fact that purchases and other actions in SL are not "transactional" in nature means that an error somewhere in the process results in lost money, content, or both. Your votes on this issue will send a message to LL. We've already had some pretty quick action taken on hot issues due to the amount of votes the issues received in Jira.

Happened to me, too. Luckily, it was only a L$30 gimmick.

Can I even get my money back? Or am I going to be ignored?

Get inworld with another account ( this works from what i heard ) explain your problems and they tell you what to do in the next step.

Why will SL not let you message the vendor? I haven't been experiencing any problems sending people an IM...

Does this sort of thing increase with large numbers online? Or large numbers in the Sim where you purchase items?

Im begining to wonder if the loss of picked up items, vendors not giving purchased items, etc are all related to the other asset server problems that are common when were near population peaks.

Basically If you cant ever rez your jeans unfuzzy, why would you expect the vendor to be working right?

Just something that seems to be whats happening to my freinds and Im wondering if others notice the same problem.

I have a failed land transaction of L$40000 (money taken and no parcel) with same message than Tomba AND the owner IM tab was disabled right after,as well as of many other random residents. I've already contacted LL technical support about this issue...<sigh>
