I installed the update, and I thought it would help me. I was crashing after a minute in world and I got the update to actually install tonight. Now, the update messed it up even more. I can't even log in and it stops at the final stage around connecting and precaching. I can't even get in! I changed my graphic prefrences, and I cleared my cache twice. I think I should just re-install SL. When I re-install, do I loose files or they are stored online in my account? Is there anything else I can do besides re-installing?

I just had to re-install myself. You lose you're local settings in Preferences, but that's it, eveyrhting else is stored on the SL server and will remain the same, you items, your friends list, etc.

I reinstalled and restarted and I'm getting the same result. Nothing changed. It loads, but it never lets me enter. One error actually said something about memory but I didn't catch it, I wasn't paying attention... what do I do ??

It crashes RIGHT when it asks for the first time about streaming music, and I can't get quick enough to see what it's doing behind that box..

I found the error again: "The instruction at 0x6907a" referenced memory at "0x00000050". The memory could not be "read"."

I have good-quality memory, but a smaller amount. I have around 536? I can't remember but it's a lot better than most memory is.
