UUID means Universal Unique IDentifier. There are several gadgets that can do this. I've never seen a whole and comprehensive list, so I hope a lot of people will post here to fill in the gaps. One of them is CrystalShard Foo's Scan-Foo. You type in commands, it can do a particle point and locate it within X meters. Another is one that was given to me by FlipperPA Peregrine a long time ago, I forget the exact name but it was something general like "Object Scanner". I wish I could remember who made it too. I know the answer to that's going to make me blush.

a lovely lady sent me a script that did the trick in world so i'm all good, but it wasn't easy to track this answer down w/o posting in forums. there doesn't seem to be a lot on it unless you're a scripter yourself. so maybe this thread can still lend a hand to anyone else searching for the same answer in the future.

Cool, out of curiosity, could you please send that script to me? Who made it? Thanx!
