Upgraded to windows xp today. Uninstalled old nvidia drivers (I have a geforce3 ti500) and installed new drivers. Uninstall new drivers, install 30.82. Freeze. Install directx 9.0. Freeze. Uninstall 30.82, install 40.01 or whatever the new on is on the website. Freeze. I'm about to rip out my hair  Any suggestions?

nevermind, fixed the problem fyi if you upgrade to winxp make sure you install new sound drivers!!!  i heart windows update /bowhugkiss
