I just clicked on a secondlife://Sim/X/Y link in my web browser while I had SL open. In 1.6, it would pass that Landmark to the SL client. Now in 1.7, it's trying to open up a new instance of 1.7.
I bugged it. Can anyone else confirm. I may need to uninstall and reinstall to fix this, but even so, the bug would then be that the install of 1.7 should fix this file association.

Aaron, I experience the same. I've not been able to get around it. At first I thought it was opening up the Preview but turns out it's doing multiple instances of my 1.7.0 (53). I use a lot of secondlife:// links from the web.

Look who's here. It seems like a bug! If you haven't bug-reported yet, PLEASE DO! (I have.)

If you click a secondlife:// link without the client already open it does launch and load the map with the selected coordinate but the Teleport button is not enabled! Making this feature useless either way.

Making this feature useless either way. I was able to enter using Secondlife://sim/100/100 I did not have the game running at the time and I used Netscape for the web browser. When I entered the URL into the URL line, it activated the game and sent me to the log in page then I appeared at 100/100 in the sim I went to. On the Browser, the web page was left blank.

Making this feature useless either way. I believe the Teleport button is not activated, simply, because after arriving in the Game, you have not selected a spot to teleport to. When I tried entering just now, I too had a inactive teleport button. But I was able to easily port to my home location using the home button.
