Uber Newbie Having Problem After Install

Greetings,

I have downloaded the client program and attempted to run it many times. It goes just beyond the "checking your hardware", and I can see the program open ever so briefly, then it closes on me.

I have of course checked system requirements and I seem to be within limits. I sure would appreciate an idea of where to start, although I have deinstalled and reinstalled at least 5 times.

I've checked the logs and no errors are being generated, the client program just doesn't open.

Please list your system requirements. Specifically, we need to know the exact name and model of graphics card, and your operating system.

If you don't have WinXP or Win2000, and aren't running a GeForce or Radeon graphics card, SL typically won't run.
