I am going to buy a new pc.
Do I have to copy any data from the old PC to the new one ? So I won't lost any item from my inventory ?
Thanks,
Maica

No, all of the stuff in your inventory and your avatar is stored on Linden Lab's computers. Make sure you keep a copy of your avatar's name and password somewhere though; maybe on a piece of paper.

Hello Maica, anything that is in-world remains in-world. To keep your inventory stuff and avatar settings (skin, shape, make-up etc.) you don't need to copy anything from one PC to another, it's stored in-world so to speak. However, if you want to keep your viewer settings or any preferences you may have set like window size, log-in screen of your home position etc. you can copy two folders... C:\documents and settings\[your user name]\application data\Second Life and C:\programs\Second Life This may be amateurish, but you can simply copy these folders into the same location on the new computer AFTER installing Second Life. Et voilĂ , you won't recognize a change. Good luck! -tina-
